Education
New Day church believes in Christian education for all ages. Adult worship also includes religious education. Periodically, Bible studies are held for adults.
New Day also holds classes for children of all ages. We now have four rooms that can be used for children: nursery, preschoolers, primary aged children and one that can be used for teens and/or artwork. The curriculum that New Day uses is based on the stories of the Bible told with wooden figures. We begin with a circle time, illustrate the story, have the children respond to the story with artwork and have a morning "feast." New Day's goal is to allow the children to grow in their faith at their own pace.

New Day teachers find it very rewarding to work with the children. They say it develops their own faith too. It is a wonderful way to use an adult's teaching skills.
During February, we will continue to help the children understand Epiphany. Sylvia DeWitt will be working with the children on stories about Jesus. She is delighted to be part of our teaching team.
